Rastamouse
Rastamouse is also a stop motion animation that is animated and broadcasted in Britain and is based on the books of the same name also aimed at pre-school children. The programme follows a Rastafarian mouse (Rastamouse) and his two friends Scratchy and Zoomer, collectively known as ‘The Easy Crew’, as they fight crime on their Island. Other characters include Bagga-T, a rapping mouse who works at and orphanage and President Wensleydale, the President of the island who contacts The Easy Crew via walkie-talkie whenever help is needed. Rastamouse is animated in Wales and has been broadcasted on Cbeebies since the 31st of January 2011. It is the first ever British animated series to feature Jamaican-Caribbean characters.
